This Privacy Policy (hereinafter – the "Policy") describes how the M8 Market platform (hereinafter – the "Platform", "We", "Us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about users of the Platform, available at https://m8market.com, which is a B2B platform for the wholesale trade of green coffee. For more on the Platform, please review our Terms of Service page, which governs your use of the Service. “You” or “User” means you as a user of the Platform.

By using the Platform and the Service, You confirm and guarantee that You have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction and are authorized to enter into our Terms. You agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this Policy.

1.2. Role of the Platform. M8 Market acts solely as an information platform and aggregator. The Platform is not a party to transactions between Users. Responsibility for the fulfillment of agreements between Users, and for the quality, safety, and legality of listed goods lies solely with the Users; the Platform assumes no such responsibility. The Platform does not process payments between Users.

1.3. User Content and Liability. The Platform does not verify and is not responsible for the accuracy, truthfulness, or legality of User Content, including but not limited to product descriptions, purchase requests, and messages. Any liabilities, losses, or disputes arising from User Content or transactions between Users are resolved directly between the involved parties. The Platform is not a party to such disputes and bears no responsibility for them.

2. Information We Collect

2.1. Information You Provide to Us:

  • Registration Data: To create an account (profile), the Platform requests and stores a single identifier – the User's email address. This email address is used for account verification and serves as a login to access the Platform.
  • Business Information: Information that the User voluntarily posts on the Platform: offers (lots) for the sale of green coffee, purchase requests, including description, variety, volume, price, delivery terms, photographs, and other product characteristics.
  • Communications: Correspondence between Users conducted exclusively through the Platform's built-in mail system, as well as inquiries to the support service.

2.2. Information Collected Automatically:

  • Technical Data: May include IP address, browser type, cookie data, device information, visit history, and activity on the Platform.

3. Purposes of Information Processing

3.1. Legal Basis for Processing.
The processing of your personal data is based on one or more of the following legal grounds:

  • Performance of a Contract: Processing is necessary to provide you with the Platform's services in accordance with our Terms of Service.

  • To Partners and Service Providers: We may engage trusted third-party companies (suppliers, contractors) to perform services on our behalf (e.g., hosting, analytics). These parties are obligated to maintain confidentiality and not use the information for any other purpose.
  • As Required by Law: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or at the request of authorized government agencies.

For the purposes of this Policy, publication of information on the Platform is sufficient notice from the Platform.
